2 Kings 24:8
8 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

Joachin was eight years old when he began to reign; and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem. And he did evil in the sight of the Lord.

Now king Sedecias the son of Josias reigned instead of Jechonias the son of Joakim: whom Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon made king in the land of Juda.

The Lord showed me: and, behold, two baskets full of figs, set before the temple of the Lord: after that Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon had carried away Jechonias the son of Joakim the king of Juda, and his chief men, and the craftsmen and engravers of Jerusalem and had brought them to Babylon.

Is this man Jechonias an earthen and a broken vessel? Is he a vessel wherein there is no pleasure? Why are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?

As I live, saith the Lord, if Jechonias the son of Joakim, the king of Juda, were a ring on my right hand, I would pluck him thence.

And I will send thee, and thy mother that bore thee, into a strange country, in which you were not born: and there you shall die.
