2 Kings 21:11
21 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

And he became abominable, insomuch that he followed the idols which the Amorrhites had made, whom the Lord destroyed before the face of the children of Israel.

But they hearkened not: but were seduced by Manasses, to do evil more than the nations which the Lord destroyed before the children of Israel.

And I will give them up to the rage of all the kingdoms of the earth: because of Manasses the son of Ezechias the king of Juda, for all that he did in Jerusalem.

Thou art thy mother's daughter, that cast off her husband and her children: and thou art the sister of thy sisters, who cast off their husbands and their children. Your mother was a Cethite, and your father an Amorrhite.

And thou shalt say: Thus saith the Lord God to Jerusalem: Thy root and thy nativity is of the land of Chanaan. Thy father was an Amorrhite and thy mother a Cethite.

And he walked in all the way in which his father had walked. And he served the abominations which his father had served, and he adored them:

Moreover Manasses shed also very much innocent blood, till he filled Jerusalem up to the mouth: besides his sins, wherewith he made Juda to sin, to do evil before the Lord.

And he did evil in the sight of the Lord, according to the idols of the nations, which the Lord destroyed from before the face of the children of Israel.

In his sins, which he had sinned, doing evil before the Lord, and walking in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin, wherewith he made Israel to sin.

Because of the sin of Jeroboam, which he had sinned, and wherewith he had made Israel to sin, and for the offence, wherewith he provoked the Lord the God of Israel.

And the Lord shall give up Israel for the sins of Jeroboam, who hath sinned, and made Israel to sin.

But in the fourth generation they shall return hither: for as yet the iniquities of the Amorrhites are not at the full, until this present time.

But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel. Moreover he consecrated also his son, making him pass through the fire according to the idols of the nations: which the Lord destroyed before the children of Israel.

And the Lord spoke in the hand of his servants, the prophets, saying:

And he did evil in the sight of the Lord, as Manasses his father had done.

Moreover the diviners by spirits, and soothsayers, and the figures of idols, and the uncleannesses, and the abominations, that had been in the land of Juda and Jerusalem, Josias took away: that he might perform the words of the law, that were written in the book which Helcias the priest had found in the temple of the Lord.

That grieveth the needy and the poor: that taketh away by violence: that restoreth not the pledge: and that lifteth up his eyes to idols: that committeth abomination:

And the Jebusite, and the Amorrhite, and the Gergesite,

And she hath despised my judgments so as to be more wicked than the Gentiles; and my commandments, more than the countries that are round about her: for they have cast off my judgments, and have not walked in my commandments.
