But because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privately to spy our liberty, which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into servitude.


Stand fast, and be not held again under the yoke of bondage.


But now, after that you have known God, or rather are known by God: how turn you again to the weak and needy elements, which you desire to serve again?


So we also, when we were children, were serving under the elements of the world.


And to him that striketh thee on the one cheek, offer also the other. And him that taketh away from thee thy cloak, forbid not to take thy coat also.


Jod. He shall give his cheek to him that striketh him he shall be filled with reproaches.


I have given my body to the strikers, and my cheeks to them that plucked them: I have not turned away my face from them that rebuked me and spit upon me.


For neither have we used, at any time, the speech of flattery, as you know; nor taken an occasion of covetousness, God is witness:


Whose end is destruction; whose God is their belly; and whose glory is in their shame; who mind earthly things.


For as many as desire to please in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised, only that they may not suffer the persecution of the cross of Christ.


I have confidence in you in the Lord: that you will not be of another mind: but he that troubleth you, shall bear the judgment, whosoever he be.


For Sina is a mountain in Arabia, which hath affinity to that Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

Who devour the houses of widows under the pretence of long prayer: these shall receive greater judgment.

But I fear lest, as the serpent seduced Eve by his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted, and fall from the simplicity that is in Christ.
