6 And the king said to the man of God: Entreat the face of the Lord thy God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored to me. And the man of God besought the face of the Lord: and the king's hand was restored to him; and it became as it was before.

Then Simon answering, said: Pray you for me to the Lord, that none of these things which you have spoken may come upon me.


But now forgive me my sin this time also: and pray to the Lord your God, that he take away from me this death.


Pray ye to the Lord, that the thunderings of God and the hail may cease: that I may let you go, and that you may stay here no longer.


But Pharao called Moses and Aaron, and said to them: Pray ye to the Lord to take away the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go to sacrifice to the Lord.


Upon which they came to Moses, and said: We have sinned, because we have spoken against the Lord and thee. Pray that he may take away these serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.


And Pharao said: I will let you go to sacrifice to the Lord your God in the wilderness. But go no farther: pray for me.
