Besides those things which are without: my daily instance, the solicitude for all the churches.

Neither yield ye your members as instruments of iniquity unto sin; but present yourselves to God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of justice unto God.

It is a faithful saying: and these things I will have thee affirm constantly: that they, who believe in God, may be careful to excel in good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

And may the God of peace himself sanctify you in all things; that your whole spirit, and soul, and body, may be preserved blameless in the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And thanks be to God, who hath given the same carefulness for you in the heart of Titus.

But if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?

And the hireling flieth, because he is a hireling: and he hath no care for the sheep.

But he that is with a wife, is solicitous for the things of the world, how he may please his wife: and he is divided.

And this I speak for your profit: not to cast a snare upon you; but for that which is decent, and which may give you power to attend upon the Lord, without impediment.

But she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, let her trust in God, and continue in supplications and prayers night and day.
