God brings wars to an end all over the world. He breaks the arrows, shatters the spears, and burns the shields.


But God despises evil people, and he will wipe them all from the earth, till they are forgotten.


With praises from children and from tiny infants, you have built a fortress. It makes your enemies silent, and all who turn against you are left speechless.


If I have done any of this, then let my enemies chase and capture me. Let them trample me to death and leave me in the dirt.

When his people pray for help, he listens and rescues them from their troubles.


Those enemies are now dead and can never live again. You have punished them— they are destroyed, completely forgotten.
