Psalm 85:1
13 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

I long for someone from Zion to come and save Israel! Our Lord, when you bless your people again, Jacob's family will be glad, and Israel will celebrate.

The Lord said: Israel, I will be kind to you and let you come home. Jerusalem now lies in ruins, but you will rebuild it, complete with a new palace.

Now I will show mercy to the people of Israel and bring them back from the nations where they are living. They are Jacob's descendants, so I will bless them and show that I am holy.

“Have you rejected me forever? Won't you be kind again?

The Lord was deeply concerned about his land and had pity on his people.

As a deer gets thirsty for streams of water, I truly am thirsty for you, my God.

And so, I will have pity on Jerusalem. The city will be completely rebuilt, and my temple will stand again.

At that time I, the Lord, will make Judah and Jerusalem prosperous again.

I'll keep the promise I made to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I will bless your land

The Lord All-Powerful, the God of Israel, said: I promise to set the people of Judah free and to lead them back to their hometowns. And when I do, they will once again say, “We pray that the Lord will bless his home, the sacred hill in Jerusalem where his temple stands.”

Altogether, there were 5,400 gold and silver dishes, bowls, and other articles. Sheshbazzar took them with him when he and the others returned to Jerusalem from Babylonia.
