Who can stand the heat of his furious anger? It flashes out like fire and shatters stones.


Show respect to his son because if you don't, the Lord might become furious and suddenly destroy you. But he blesses and protects everyone who runs to him.


You are the most fearsome of all who live in heaven; all the others fear and greatly honor you.


Lord, who doesn't honor and praise your name? You alone are holy, and all nations will come and worship you, because you have shown that you judge with fairness.”


The angel shouted, “Worship and honor God! The time has come for him to judge everyone. Kneel down before the one who created heaven and earth, the oceans, and every stream.”


We would make the Lord jealous if we did this. And we are not stronger than the Lord.


Don't be afraid of people. They can kill you, but they cannot harm your soul. Instead, you should fear God who can destroy both your body and your soul in hell.


If you kept record of our sins, no one could last long.


No one knows the full power of your furious anger, but it is as great as the fear that we owe to you.


Lord God of Israel, you have been more than fair by letting a few of us survive. But once again, our sins have made us ashamed to face you.


The Lord is great and deserves our greatest praise! He is the only God worthy of our worship.


Moses and the Israelites sang this song in praise of the Lord: I sing praises to the Lord for his great victory! He has thrown the horses and their riders into the sea.


He threw the chariots and army of Egypt's king into the Red Sea, and he drowned the best of the king's officers.
