Psalm 71:20
26 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

I am surrounded by trouble, but you protect me against my angry enemies. With your own powerful arm you keep me safe.

You brought hard times on your people, and you gave us wine that made us stagger.

Your love for me is so great that you protected me from death and the grave.

Then we will never turn away. Put new life into us, and we will worship you.

I had sunk down deep below the mountains beneath the sea. I knew that forever, I would be a prisoner there. But, you, Lord God, rescued me from that pit.

I am at the point of death. Let your teachings breathe new life into me.

I am your chosen one. You won't leave me in the grave or let my body decay.

“Sir,” I answered, “you must know.” Then he told me: “These are the ones who have gone through the great suffering. They have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb and have made them white.

When it says, “he went up,” it means that Christ had been deep in the earth.

Then about that time Jesus shouted, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, my God, why have you deserted me?”

It was for my own good that I had such hard times. But your love protected me from doom in the deep pit, and you turned your eyes away from my sins.

Your people will rise to life! Tell them to leave their graves and celebrate with shouts. You refresh the earth like morning dew; you give life to the dead.

Won't you give us fresh life and let your people be glad because of you?

Someone from your own family will cause you a lot of trouble, and I will take your wives and give them to another man before your very eyes. He will go to bed with them while everyone looks on.

But God set him free from death and raised him to life. Death could not hold him in its power.

You take away life, and you give life. You send people down to the world of the dead and bring them back again.

Answer our prayers, God! Use your powerful arm and give us victory. Then the people you love will be safe.

He holds the deepest part of the earth in his hands, and the mountain peaks also belong to him.
