You, Lord, never fail to have pity on me; your love and faithfulness always keep me secure.


“I thank you, Lord God of my master Abraham! You have led me to his relatives and kept your promise to him.”


You will send help from heaven and save me, but you will bring trouble on my attackers. You are faithful, and you can be trusted.


You have helped me because I am innocent, and you will always be close to my side.


This is why Christ did not go into a tent made by humans and was only a copy of the real one. Instead, he went into heaven and is now there with God to help us.


He will rule the people of Israel forever, and his kingdom will never end.”


You will keep your word and be faithful to Jacob and to Abraham, as you promised our ancestors many years ago.


Rulers are protected by God's mercy and loyalty, but they must be merciful for their kingdoms to last.


Send your light and your truth to guide me. Let them lead me to your house on your sacred mountain.


I don't deserve all the good things you have done for me, your servant. When I first crossed the Jordan, I had only my walking stick, but now I have two large groups of people and animals.


Then you will be famous forever, and everyone will say, “The Lord God All-Powerful rules Israel, and David's descendants are his chosen kings.”


The king is highly honored. You have let him win victories that have made him famous.
