You will let me defeat all my enemies. Then I will celebrate, as I enter your tent with animal sacrifices and songs of praise.


You are my strong shield, and I trust you completely. You have helped me, and I will celebrate and thank you in song.


Later the Lord spoke to Abram in a vision, “Abram, don't be afraid! I will protect you and reward you greatly.”


You are my place of safety and my shield. Your word is my only hope.


You won't need the light of the sun or the moon. I, the Lord your God, will be your eternal light and bring you honor.


God saves me and honors me. He is that mighty rock where I find safety.


Our Lord and our God, you are like the sun and also like a shield. You treat us with kindness and with honor, never denying any good thing to those who live right.


You are my mighty rock, my fortress, my protector, the rock where I am safe, my shield, my powerful weapon, and my place of shelter.
