Tell those who obey God, “You're very fortunate— you will be rewarded for what you have done.”


The Lord has given his word and made this promise: “Never again will I give to your enemies the grain and grapes for which you struggled.


You will have many children. You will harvest large crops, and your herds of cattle and flocks of sheep and goats will produce many young.


The Lord will give you a lot of children and make sure that your animals give birth to many young. The Lord promised your ancestors that this land would be yours, and he will make it produce large crops for you.


My dear friends, stand firm and don't be shaken. Always keep busy working for the Lord. You know that everything you do for him is worthwhile.


They commit hundreds of crimes and live a long time, in spite of the saying: Everyone who lives right and respects God will prosper,


More cedar in your palace doesn't make you a better king than your father Josiah. He always did right— he gave justice to the poor and was honest.


I, the Lord God, will give food and drink to my servants, and they will celebrate. But all of you sinners will go hungry and thirsty, overcome with disgrace.


They will take your cattle, sheep, goats, grain, wine, and olive oil, then leave you to starve.


You will plant vineyards and work hard at taking care of them, but you won't gather any grapes, much less get any wine, because the vines themselves will be eaten by worms.


You will sweat all your life to earn a living; you were made out of soil, and you will once again turn into soil.”


“Let the people he owes take everything he owns. Give it all to strangers.


The Lord your God is giving you the land, and he will make sure you are successful in everything you do. Your harvests will be so large that your storehouses will be full.


They are like trees growing beside a stream, trees that produce fruit in season and always have leaves. Those people succeed in everything they do.
