Numbers 16:22
24 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

“You are the Lord God, and you know what is in everyone's heart. So I ask you to appoint a leader for Israel.

This is a message from the Lord about Israel: I am the Lord! I stretched out the heavens; I put the earth on its foundations and gave breath to humans.

Every living creature is in the hands of God.

Our earthly fathers correct us, and we still respect them. Isn't it even better to be given true life by letting our spiritual Father correct us?

So our bodies return to the earth, and the life-giving breath returns to God.

Everyone was going to be punished because Adam sinned. But because of the good thing that Christ has done, God accepts us and gives us the gift of life.

My people, I won't stay angry and keep on accusing you. After all, I am your Creator. I don't want you to give up in complete despair.

David saw the angel killing everyone and told the Lord, “These people are like sheep with me as their shepherd. I have sinned terribly, but they have done nothing wrong. Please, punish me and my family instead of them!”

“Stand back! I am going to wipe out these Israelites once and for all.” They immediately bowed down and prayed.

Moses and Aaron bowed down to pray in front of the crowd.

Finally, Abraham said, “Please don't get angry, Lord, if I speak just once more. Suppose you find only 10 good people there.” “For the sake of 10 good people,” the Lord told him, “I still won't destroy the city.”

Love is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting.

The Lord was angry with Israel again, and he made David think it would be a good idea to count the people in Israel and Judah.

When Moses heard this, he knelt down to pray.

When the high priest sins, he makes everyone else guilty too. And so, he must sacrifice a young bull that has nothing wrong with it.

Then Moses told Aaron and his other two sons, Eleazar and Ithamar: Don't show your sorrow by messing up your hair and tearing your priestly clothes, or the Lord will get angry. He will kill the three of you and punish everyone else. It's all right for your relatives, the people of Israel, to mourn for those he destroyed by fire.

Now you are turning your backs on the Lord again. If you don't stop rebelling against the Lord at once, he will be angry with the whole nation.

Jeremiah, I am the Lord God. I rule the world, and I can do anything!

He said, “I swear in the name of the living Lord our Creator that I won't have you killed. No one else can hear what we say, and I won't let anyone kill you.”

The lives of all people belong to me—parents as well as children. However, only those who sin will be put to death.

Moses and Aaron were two of your priests. Samuel was also one of those who prayed in your name, and you, our Lord, answered their prayers.
