26 Eldad and Medad were two leaders who had not gone to the tent. But when the Spirit took control of them, they began shouting like prophets right there in camp.

Then I said, Baruch, the officials refuse to let me go into the Lord's temple,


I replied, “I'm not a good speaker, Lord, and I'm too young.”


Saul didn't say anything that day, because he was thinking, “Something must have happened to make David unfit to be at the Festival. Yes, something must have happened.”


The people prayed, “Our Lord, is Saul here?” “Yes,” the Lord answered, “he is hiding behind the baggage.”


But Moses said, “Who am I to go to the king and lead your people out of Egypt?”


A boy ran to Moses and told him about Eldad and Medad.


and saw the tribes of Israel camped below. Just then, God's Spirit took control of him,


The Spirit of the Lord will suddenly take control of you. You'll become a different person and start prophesying right along with them.


Some time later, God spoke to Azariah son of Oded.


For years, you were patient, and your Spirit warned them with messages spoken by your prophets. Still they refused to listen, and you handed them over to their enemies.
