13 Go in through the narrow gate. The gate to destruction is wide, and the road that leads there is easy to follow. A lot of people go through that gate.

Sometimes what seems right is really a road to death.


“I am the way, the truth, and the life!” Jesus answered. “Without me, no one can go to the Father.


I am the gate. All who come in through me will be saved. Through me they will come and go and find pasture.


Give up your evil ways and your evil thoughts. Return to the Lord our God. He will be merciful and forgive your sins.


If you want to live, give up your foolishness and let understanding guide your steps.”


And because we belong to Christ Jesus, we have killed our selfish feelings and desires.


He said, “Turn back to God! The kingdom of heaven will soon be here.”


Do something to show you have really given up your sins.


The Lord also says, “Leave them and stay away! Don't touch anything that isn't clean. Then I will welcome you


You Pharisees and teachers of the Law of Moses are in for trouble! You're nothing but show-offs. You lock people out of the kingdom of heaven. You won't go in yourselves, and you keep others from going in.


Anyone whose name wasn't written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.


that they are headed for hell! They worship their stomachs and brag about the disgusting things they do. All they can think about are the things of this world.


The god who rules this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers. They cannot see the light, which is the good news about our glorious Christ, who shows what God is like.


So turn to God! Give up your sins, and you will be forgiven.


Then the angel threw the dragon into the pit. He locked and sealed it, so 1,000 years would go by before the dragon could fool the nations again. But after that, it would have to be set free for a little while.


We are certain we come from God and the rest of the world is under the power of the devil.


Then Jesus said, “Those people will be punished forever. But the ones who pleased God will have eternal life.”


Then the king will say to those on his left, “Get away from me! You are under God's curse. Go into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels!


The beast was worshiped by everyone whose name wasn't written before the time of creation in the book of the Lamb who was killed.


God wanted to show his anger and reveal his power against everyone who deserved to be destroyed. But instead, he patiently put up with them.


So then, you cannot be my disciple unless you give away everything you own.


Zion would have disappeared like Sodom and Gomorrah, if the Lord All-Powerful had not let a few of its people survive.


and were thrown down to the earth. Yes, that old snake and his angels were thrown out of heaven! That snake, who fools everyone on earth, is known as the devil and Satan.


The Lord saw how bad the people on earth were and that everything they thought and planned was evil.


Moses and Elijah were about to leave, when Peter said to Jesus, “Master, it is good for us to be here! Let us make three shelters, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” But Peter did not know what he was talking about.


Her house is a one-way street leading straight down to the world of the dead.


A good road will be there, and it will be named “God's Sacred Highway.” It will be for God's people; no one unfit to worship God will walk on that road. And no fools can travel on that highway.


But the gate to life is very narrow. The road that leads there is so hard to follow that only a few people find it.
