The king was so angry that he ordered the official to be tortured until he could pay back everything he owed.


You won't get out until you have paid the last cent you owe.


Do this, because on the day of judgment there will be no pity for those who have not had pity on others. But even in judgment, God is merciful!


Their punishment will be eternal destruction, and they will be kept far from the presence of our Lord and his glorious strength.


And besides, there is a deep ditch between us, and no one from either side can cross over.”


Then Jesus said, “Those people will be punished forever. But the ones who pleased God will have eternal life.”


Then the king will say to those on his left, “Get away from me! You are under God's curse. Go into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels!


Aren't two sparrows sold for only a penny? But your Father knows when any one of them falls to the ground.


Finally, a poor widow came up and put in two coins worth only a few pennies.


When someone accuses you of something, try to settle things before you are taken to court. If you don't, you will be dragged before the judge. Then the judge will hand you over to the jailer, and you will be locked up.
