Matthew 18:27
11 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

You are merciful, Lord! You are kind and patient and always loving.

Israel, I can't let you go. I can't give you up. How could I possibly destroy you as I did the towns of Admah and Zeboiim? I just can't do it. My feelings for you are much too strong.

But you, the Lord God, are kind and merciful. You don't easily get angry, and your love can always be trusted.

But, our God, you are merciful and quick to forgive; you are loving, kind, and very patient. So you never turned away from them—

You willingly forgive, and your love is always there for those who pray to you.

Then the Israelites got rid of the idols of the foreign gods, and they began worshiping only the Lord. Finally, there came a time when the Lord could no longer stand to see them suffer.

But as this official was leaving, he happened to meet another official, who owed him 100 silver coins. So he grabbed the man by the throat. He started choking him and said, “Pay me what you owe!”

The king called the first official back in and said, “You're an evil man! When you begged for mercy, I said you did not have to pay back a cent.

Since neither of them could pay him back, the moneylender said that they didn't have to pay him anything. Which one of them will like him more?”

Simon answered, “I suppose it would be the one who had owed more and didn't have to pay it back.” “You are right,” Jesus said.
