31 Everyone was amazed at what they saw and heard. People who had never spoken could now speak. The lame were healed, the paralyzed could walk, and the blind were able to see. Everyone was praising the God of Israel.

When the crowds saw this, they were afraid and praised God for giving such authority to people.


At once the man could see, and he went with Jesus and started thanking God. When the crowds saw what happened, they praised God.


Everyone was frightened and praised God. They said, “A great prophet is here with us! God has come to his people.”


If your hand or foot causes you to sin, chop it off and throw it away! You would be better off to go into life paralyzed or lame than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into the fire that never goes out.


After Jesus had forced the demon out, the man started talking. The crowds were so amazed they began saying, “Nothing like this has ever happened in Israel!”


The leaders called the man back and said, “Swear by God to tell the truth! We know that Jesus is a sinner.”


The servant told his master what happened, and the master became so angry he said, “Go as fast as you can to every street and alley in town! Bring in everyone who is poor or paralyzed or blind or lame.”


When you give a feast, invite the poor, the paralyzed, the lame, and the blind.


So if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off! You would be better off to go into life paralyzed than to have two hands and be thrown into the fires of hell that never go out.


They were completely amazed and said, “Everything he does is good! He even heals people who cannot hear or talk.”


The man got right up. He picked up his mat and went out while everyone watched in amazement. They praised God and said, “We have never seen anything like this!”


Blind and lame people came to Jesus in the temple, and he healed them.


The sacrifice that honors me is a thankful heart. Obey me, and I, your God, will show my power to save.


Pray to me in time of trouble. I will rescue you, and you will honor me.


and saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was something that looked like a pavement made out of sapphire, and it was as bright as the sky.


then he set up his tents and built an altar there to honor the God of Israel.


The man said, “From now on, your name will no longer be Jacob. You will be called Israel, because you have wrestled with God and with men, and you have won.”


When Jesus heard this, he was so surprised that he turned and said to the crowd following him, “I tell you in all of Israel I've never found anyone with this much faith!


As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, some people brought to him a man who could not talk because a demon was in him.


Large crowds came and brought many people who were paralyzed or blind or lame or unable to talk. They placed them, and many others, in front of Jesus, and he healed them all.
