15 Those seeds that fell on good ground are the people who listen to the message and keep it in good and honest hearts. They last and produce a harvest.

Learn to be patient, so you will please God and be given what he has promised.


Good people do good things because of the good in their hearts, but bad people do bad things because of the evil in their hearts. Your words show what is in your heart.


Then you will live a life that honors the Lord, and you will always please him by doing good deeds. You will come to know God even better.


The good news is spreading all over the world with great success. It has spread in this same way among you, ever since the first day you learned the truth about God's wonderful kindness


Jesus said to his disciples: If you love me, you will do as I command.


Jesus replied, “That's true, but the people who are really blessed are the ones who hear and obey God's message!”


Jesus Christ will keep you busy doing good deeds that bring glory and praise to God.


That is how it is with you, my friends. You are now part of the body of Christ and are dead to the power of the Law. You are free to belong to Christ, who was raised to life so we could serve God.


Now you have been set free from sin, and you are God's slaves. This will make you holy and will lead you to eternal life.


If you obey me, I will keep loving you, just as my Father keeps loving me, because I have obeyed him.


But if you keep on being faithful right to the end, you will be saved.


You and your descendants are stubborn, but the Lord will make you willing to obey him and love him with all your heart and soul, and you will enjoy a long life.


We must give our full attention to what we were told, so we won't drift away.


You were saved by faith in God, who treats us much better than we deserve. This is God's gift to you, and not anything you have done on your own.


Being circumcised or uncircumcised isn't really what matters. The important thing is to obey God's commands.


I know that my selfish desires won't let me do anything that is good. Even when I want to do right, I cannot.


He will give eternal life to everyone who has patiently done what is good in the hope of receiving glory, honor, and life that lasts forever.


Here is the new agreement that I, the Lord, will make with the people of Israel: “I will write my laws on their hearts and minds. I will be their God, and they will be my people.


But you must learn to endure everything, so you will be completely mature and not lacking in anything.


The Babylonian army is already attacking, and they will capture the city and set it on fire. The people of Jerusalem have made me angry by going up to the flat roofs of their houses and burning incense to Baal and offering wine sacrifices to other gods. Now these houses will be burned to the ground!


When you spoke to me, I was glad to obey, because I belong to you, the Lord All-Powerful.


My child, remember my teachings and instructions and obey them completely.


I treasure your word above all else; it keeps me from sinning against you.


Create pure thoughts in me and make me faithful again.


The seeds that fell among the thornbushes are also people who hear the message. But they are so eager for riches and pleasures that they never produce anything.


No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl or under a bed. A lamp is always put on a lampstand, so people who come into a house will see the light.


However, we hope for something we have not yet seen, and we patiently wait for it.
