Jesus replied, “Peter, I tell you that before a rooster crows tomorrow morning, you will say three times that you don't know me.”


I will forgive you, but you will think about your sins and be too ashamed to say a word. I, the Lord God, have spoken.


When that happens, we tell everyone, “I sinned and did wrong, but God forgave me


Think about where you have fallen from, and then turn back and do as you did at first. If you don't turn back, I will come and take away your lampstand.


Don't forget that you are Gentiles. In fact, you used to be called “uncircumcised” by those who take pride in being circumcised.

Jesus replied, “I promise you before a rooster crows tonight, you will say three times that you don't know me.”


Israel, I can't let you go. I can't give you up. How could I possibly destroy you as I did the towns of Admah and Zeboiim? I just can't do it. My feelings for you are much too strong.


Peter replied, “I don't know what you are talking about!” Right then, while Peter was still speaking, a rooster crowed.
