It was covered with leaves and heavy with fruit— enough for all nations. Wild animals enjoyed its shade, birds nested in its branches, and all creatures on earth lived on its fruit.


Its leaves were beautiful, and it produced enough fruit for all living creatures; animals lived in its shade, and birds nested in its branches.


But a lot of people who had heard the message believed it. So by now there were about 5,000 followers of the Lord.


On that day about 3,000 believed his message and were baptized.


When he does, many nations will turn to him and become his people. At that time you will know that I am a prophet of the Lord All-Powerful.


Birds built nests in its branches, and animals were born beneath it. People from all nations lived in the shade of this strong tree.


His power will never end; peace will last forever. He will rule David's kingdom and make it grow strong. He will always rule with honesty and justice. The Lord All-Powerful will make certain that all of this is done.


Everyone who heard this praised God and said to Paul: My friend, you can see how many tens of thousands of our people have become followers! And all of them are eager to obey the Law of Moses.


Jesus replied: It is because you don't have enough faith! But I can promise you this. If you had faith no larger than a mustard seed, you could tell this mountain to move from here to there. And it would. Everything would be possible for you.


The Lord will always guide you and provide good things to eat when you are in the desert. He will make you healthy. You will be like a garden that has plenty of water or like a stream that never runs dry.


The Lord decided his servant would suffer as a sacrifice to take away the sin and guilt of others. Now the servant will live to see his own descendants. He did everything the Lord had planned.


My darling has gone down to his garden of spices, where he will feed his sheep and gather lilies.


At the sound of the seventh trumpet, loud voices were heard in heaven. They said, “Now the kingdom of this world belongs to our Lord and to his Chosen One! And he will rule forever and ever!”

Has anyone believed us or seen the mighty power of the Lord in action?


You are in the garden with friends all around. Let me hear your voice!


Let the north wind blow, the south wind too! Let them spread the aroma of my garden, so the one I love may enter and taste its delicious fruits.


My bride, my very own, you are a garden, a fountain closed off to all others.


Jesus replied: If you had faith no bigger than a tiny mustard seed, you could tell this mulberry tree to pull itself up, roots and all, and to plant itself in the ocean. And it would!


Finally, Jesus said: What is God's kingdom like? What story can I use to explain it?
