and accept your worship. Then I will gather you from all the nations where I scattered you, and you will return to Jerusalem.

Our Lord, you have blessed your land and made all go well for Jacob's descendants.

Then he will stop punishing you and treat you with kindness. He may have scattered you to the farthest countries on earth, but he will bring you back

The Lord said: Israel, I will be kind to you and let you come home. Jerusalem now lies in ruins, but you will rebuild it, complete with a new palace.

Instead, you will call me the Living Lord who rescued you from that country in the north and from the other countries where I had forced you to go. Someday I will bring you back to this land that I gave your ancestors.

Someday I will bless Sodom and Samaria and their nearby villages. I will also bless you, Jerusalem.

In those days I will even give my Spirit to my servants, both men and women.

Michael, the chief of the angels, is the protector of your people, and he will come at a time of terrible suffering, the worst in all of history. And your people who have their names written in The Book will be protected.

But Moses replied, “Are you concerned what this might do to me? I wish the Lord would give his Spirit to all his people so everyone could be a prophet.”
