9 Jacob answered, “I have lived only 130 years, and I have had to move from place to place. My parents and my grandparents also had to move from place to place. But they lived much longer, and their life was not as hard as mine.”

Moses was 120 years old when he died, yet his eyesight was still good, and his body was strong.

Jacob himself lived there for 17 years, before dying at the age of 147.


On this earth we don't have a city that lasts forever, but we are waiting for such a city.


We are only foreigners living here on earth for a while, just as our ancestors were. And we will soon be gone, like a shadow that suddenly disappears.


So always be cheerful! As long as we are in these bodies, we are away from the Lord.


and the king asked him, “How old are you?”


Stop being angry with me and let me smile again before I am dead and gone.”
