Genesis 2:3
22 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

You have six days when you can do your work, but the seventh day of each week is holy because it belongs to me. No matter where you live, you must rest on the Sabbath and come together for worship. This law will never change.

Jesus finished by saying, “People were not made for the good of the Sabbath. The Sabbath was made for the good of people.

And I commanded them to respect the Sabbath as a way of showing that they were holy and belonged to me.

Then they went to prepare some sweet-smelling spices for his burial. But on the Sabbath they rested, as the Law of Moses commands.

Work for six days and rest on the seventh day, even during the seasons for plowing and harvesting.

You commanded them to respect your holy Sabbath, and you instructed your servant Moses to teach them your laws.

Work the first six days of the week, but rest and relax on the seventh day. This law is not only for you, but for your oxen, donkeys, and slaves, as well as for any foreigners among you.

When the Lord blesses you with riches, you have nothing to regret.

By the seventh day God had finished his work, and so he rested.

That's how God created the heavens and the earth. When the Lord God made the heavens and the earth,

God looked at what he had done. All of it was very good! Evening came, then morning—that was the sixth day.
