Abram moved from place to place in the Southern Desert. And finally, he went north and set up his tents between Bethel and Ai,


At that time Isaac was living in the southern part of Canaan near a place called “The Well of the Living One Who Sees Me.”


Abram and Sarai took everything they owned and went to the Southern Desert. Lot went with them.


We wandered from nation to nation, from one country to another.


Abraham moved to the Southern Desert, where he settled between Kadesh and Shur. Later he went to Gerar, and while there


Before Moses sent them into Canaan, he said: After you go through the Southern Desert of Canaan, continue north into the hill country


Leave this place and go into the land that belongs to the Amorites and their neighbors the Canaanites. This land includes the Jordan River valley, the hill country, the western foothills, the Southern Desert, the Mediterranean seacoast, the Lebanon Mountains, and all the territory as far as the Euphrates River.


This is a message about the animals of the Southern Desert: “You people carry treasures on donkeys and camels. You travel to a feeble nation through a troublesome desert filled with lions and flying fiery dragons.


When God made us leave my father's home and start wandering, I told her, “If you really love me, then tell everyone that I am your brother.”
