God dearly loved King Solomon of Israel and made him the greatest king on earth, but Solomon's foreign wives led him into sin.


When Nathan heard what had happened, he asked Bathsheba, Solomon's mother: Have you heard that Adonijah the son of Haggith has made himself king? But David doesn't know a thing about it.


While Peter was still speaking, the shadow of a bright cloud passed over them. From the cloud a voice said, “This is my own dear Son, and I am pleased with him. Listen to what he says!”


Then a voice from heaven said, “This is my own dear Son, and I am pleased with him.”


Someone told David that he was there, and Nathan came in. He bowed with his face to the ground


David comforted his wife Bathsheba and slept with her. Later on, she gave birth to another son and named him Solomon. The Lord loved Solomon


Meanwhile, Joab had been in the country of Ammon, attacking the city of Rabbah. He captured the royal fortress


and during that time, he had 13 more sons. His wife Bathsheba daughter of Ammiel gave birth to Shimea, Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon.


But when your son becomes king, I will give him peace throughout his kingdom. His name will be Solomon, because during his rule I will keep Israel safe and peaceful.


The Lord Most High loves you, tribe of Benjamin. He will live among your hills and protect you.


But Zadok the priest, Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, Nathan the prophet, Shimei, Rei, and David's bodyguards all refused.
