1 Samuel 31:3
6 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

The young man replied: I was on Mount Gilboa and saw King Saul leaning on his spear. The enemy's war chariots and cavalry were closing in on him.

No matter how fast you run, you won't escape. No matter how strong you are, you will lose your strength and your life.

However, during the fighting a soldier shot an arrow without even aiming, and it hit Ahab where two pieces of his armor joined. He shouted to his chariot driver, “I've been hit! Get me out of here!”

“Who won the battle?” David asked. The man said, “Our army turned and ran, but many were wounded and died. Even King Saul and his son Jonathan are dead.”

Enemies attacked with arrows, refusing to show mercy.
