And again, they said: "Alleluia! For her smoke ascends forever and ever."


For all the nations have imbibed the wine of the wrath of her fornication. And the kings of the earth have fornicated with her. And the merchants of the earth have become wealthy by the power of her pleasures."


And they cried out, seeing the place of her conflagration, saying: 'What city resembles this great city?'


With her, the kings of the earth have fornicated. And those who inhabit the earth have been inebriated by the wine of her prostitution."


Exult over her, O heaven, O holy Apostles and Prophets. For God has judged your judgment upon her.' "


And the smoke of their torments shall ascend forever and ever. And they shall have no rest, day or night, those who have worshiped the beast or his image, or who have received the character of his name."


As much as she has glorified herself and lived in pleasure, so much so give to her torment and grief. For in her heart, she has said: 'I am enthroned as queen,' and, 'I am not a widow,' and, 'I shall not see sorrow.'


At the voice of the captivity of Babylon, the earth has been moved, and an outcry has been heard among the nations."


looked out toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and the entire land of that region. And he saw embers rising up from the land like smoke from a furnace.

All the inhabitants of the islands have been stupefied over you; and all their kings, having been struck by the tempest, have changed their expression.


But avoid the younger widows. For once they have flourished in Christ, they will want to marry,


Behold, I will cast her onto a bed, and those who commit adultery with her shall be in a very great tribulation, unless they repent from their works.
