Then Nebuchadnezzar was filled with fury and the appearance of his face was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and he commanded that the furnace should be heated to seven times its usual fire.


Do not be like Cain, who was of the evil one, and who killed his brother. And why did he kill him? Because his own works were wicked, but his brother's works were just.

The senseless immediately reveals his anger. But whoever ignores injuries is clever.


Let another praise you, and not your own mouth: an outsider, and not your own lips.


Anger holds no mercy, nor does fury when it erupts. And who can bear the assault of one who has been provoked?
