¹⁰ The great God that formed all things Both rewardeth the fool, and rewardeth transgressors.

¹⁰ [But] like an archer who wounds all, so is he who hires a fool or chance passers-by.

¹⁰ As an archer that woundeth all, So is he that hireth a fool and he that hireth them that pass by.

¹⁰ Judgment determineth causes: and he that putteth a fool to silence, appeaseth anger.

For he will render to each one according to his works:

If the just are repaid upon the earth, how much more the impious and the sinner!

In the manner of a thorn, if it were to spring up from the hand of a drunkard, so also is a parable in the mouth of the foolish.

Like a dog that returns to his vomit, so also is the imprudent who repeats his foolishness.
