For God is not unjust, such that he would forget your work and the love that you have shown in his name. For you have ministered, and you continue to minister, to the saints.


the mystery which had remained hidden to past ages and generations, but which now is manifested to his saints.


For you know that whatever good each one will do, the same will he receive from the Lord, whether he is servant or free.


But to him who is able to confirm you according to my Gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, in accord with the revelation of the mystery which has been hidden from time immemorial,


saying: "What shall we do to these men? For certainly a public sign has been done through them, before all the inhabitants of Jerusalem. It is manifest, and we cannot deny it.


I must work the works of him who sent me, while it is day: the night is coming, when no one is able to work.


Whatever your hand is able to do, do it earnestly. For neither work, nor reason, nor wisdom, nor knowledge will exist in death, toward which you are hurrying.


"The kingdom of heaven is like the father of a family who went out in early morning to lead workers into his vineyard.


Yet truly, about the eleventh hour, he went out and found others standing, and he said to them, 'Why have you stood here idle all day?'


And when evening had arrived, the lord of the vineyard said to his manager, 'Call the workers and pay them their wages, beginning from the last, even to the first.'
