along with certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary, who is called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had departed,


Now the women who had come with him from Galilee, by following, saw the tomb and the manner in which his body was placed.


Then a great crowd of people followed him, with women who were mourning and lamenting him.


Now Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joseph observed where he was laid.


And my spirit has been in anguish over me. My heart within me has been disturbed.


For you are the glory of their virtue, and in your goodness, our horn will be exalted.


Now Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were there, sitting opposite the sepulcher.


He has put my brothers far from me, and my friends have withdrawn from me like strangers.
