You shall seek me, and you will not find me. And where I am, you are not able to go."


Therefore, I said to you, that you will die in your sins. For if you will not believe that I am, you will die in your sin."


Little sons, for a brief while, I am with you. You shall seek me, and just as I said to the Jews, 'Where I am going, you are not able to go,' so also I say to you now.


And you were once dead in your sins and offenses,


Therefore, Jesus said to them: "For a brief time, the Light is among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that the darkness may not overtake you. But whoever walks in darkness does not know where is he going.


(Now he said this, signifying what kind of death he would die.)


And these shall go into eternal punishment, but the just shall go into eternal life."


Then he shall also say, to those who will be on his left: 'Depart from me, you accursed ones, into the eternal fire, which was prepared for the devil and his angels.


For I say to you, you shall not see me again, until you say: 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.' "


There will no longer be an infant of only a few days there, nor an elder who does not complete his days. For a mere child dies at a hundred years of age, and a sinner of a hundred years will be accursed.


The impious will be expelled in his malice. But the just finds hope even in his own death.


When the impious man is dead, there will no longer be any hope. And the expectation of the anxious will perish.


His bones will be filled with the vices of his youth, and they will sleep with him in the dust.


As the Lord your God lives, there is no nation or kingdom to which my lord has not sent, seeking you. And when all responded, 'He is not here,' he swore each kingdom and nation to an oath, because you were not found at all.


What is this word that he spoke, 'You will seek me and you will not find me; and where I am, you are not able to go?' "
