Ecclesiastes 8:7
14 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

The fool multiplies his words. A man does not know what has been before him, and who is able to reveal to him what will be in the future after him?

then the lord of that servant will arrive on a day that he does not expect, and at an hour that he does not know.

Man does not know his own end. But, just as fish are caught with a hook, and birds are captured with a snare, so are men seized in the evil time, when it will suddenly overwhelm them.

For their perdition shall up rise suddenly. And who knows what ruin will be for each of them?

For this reason, you also must be prepared, for you do not know at what hour the Son of man will return.

And I have discovered nothing to be better than for a man to rejoice in his work: for this is his portion. And who shall add to him, so that he may know the things that will occur after him?

The man who, with a stiff neck, treats the one who corrects him with contempt will be suddenly overwhelmed to his own destruction, and reason shall not follow him.

Consider the works of God, that no one is able to correct whomever he has despised.

And the scribes of the king were summoned, in the first month Nisan, on the thirteenth day of the same month. And it was written, as Haman had commanded, to all the king's governors, and to the judges of the provinces, and to various peoples, so that each people could read and hear according to their various languages, in the name of king Artaxerxes. And the letters were sealed with his ring.

Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what the future day may bring.

I have drawn all these things through my heart, so that I might carefully understand. There are just men as well as wise men, and their works are in the hand of God. And yet a man does not know so much as whether he is worthy of love or of hatred.
