Ecclesiastes 3:18
16 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

Rise up, O God, judge your own case. Call to mind the accusations against you, which are made by the foolish all day long.

If I should be hungry, I would not tell you: for the whole world is mine, and all its plentitude.

Yet truly, these others, like irrational beasts, naturally fall into traps and into ruin by blaspheming whatever they do not understand, and so they shall perish in their corruption,

And in the same manner as it has been appointed for men to die one time, and after this, to be judged,

so that he might reveal the wealth of his glory, within these vessels of mercy, which he has prepared unto glory?

For all flesh is like the grass and all its glory is like the flower of the grass. The grass withers and its flower falls away.

For God is truthful, but every man is deceitful; just as it was written: "Therefore, you are justified in your words, and you will prevail when you give judgment."

All day long your tongue thinks up injustice. Like a sharp razor, you have wrought deceit.

Offer to God the sacrifice of praise, and pay your vows to the Most High.

Hide them in the dust together and plunge their faces into the pit.

How much more abominable and useless is the man who drinks as if from the water of iniquity?
