15 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ

And I will approach you in judgment, and I will be a swift witness against evil-doers, and adulterers, and perjurers, and those who cheat the hired hand in his wages, the widows and the orphans, and who oppress the traveler, and who have not feared me, says the Lord of hosts.

They grind the heads of the poor into the dust of the earth, and they divert the way of the humble. And the son, as well as his father, have gone to the same girl, so that they outrage my holy name.

Hear this, you who crush the poor and who make those in need of land to do without.

They have abused father and mother within you. The new arrival has been oppressed in your midst. They have grieved the orphan and the widow among you.

For Scripture says: "You shall not muzzle an ox as it is treading out the grain," and, "The worker is worthy of his pay."

You shall not slander your neighbor, nor shall you oppress him by violence. The wages of a hired hand, you shall not delay with you until tomorrow.

If one of your brothers, who dwells within the gates of your city, in the land which the Lord your God will give to you, falls into poverty, you shall not harden your heart, nor tighten your hand.
