And David said to him, "Are you able to lead me to this battle line?" And he said, "Swear to me by God that you will not kill me, and that you will not deliver me into the hands of my lord, and I will lead you to this battle line." And David swore to him.


Neither shall you stand at the exits to execute those who will flee. And you shall not enclose their remnant in the day of tribulation.


He shall live with you in a place that pleases him, and he shall rest in one of your cities. You shall not grieve him.


I will walk among you, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people.

For only in that place has our Lord been magnified. It is a place of rivers, very broad and open. No ship with oars will cross through it, nor will the great Greek ship pass through it.


Your eyes are pure, you do not behold evil, and you cannot look towards iniquity. Why do you look upon the agents of iniquity, and remain silent, while the impious is devouring one who is more just than himself?


The Lord your God is the strength in your midst; he will save. He will rejoice over you with gladness. In his love, he will be silent. He will exult over you with praise.
