And entering, he said to them: "Why are you disturbed and weeping? The girl is not dead, but is asleep."


Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you believe, you shall see the glory of God?"


He said these things, and after this, he said to them: "Lazarus our friend is sleeping. But I am going, so that I may awaken him from sleep."


And when the Lord had seen her, being moved by mercy over her, he said to her, "Do not weep."


And a certain adolescent named Eutychus, sitting on the window sill, was being weighed down by a heavy drowsiness (for Paul was preaching at length). Then, as he went to sleep, he fell from the third floor room downward. And when he was lifted up, he was dead.
