And so, when he realized that they were going to come and take him away and make him king, Jesus fled back to the mountain, by himself alone.


But they said, "Move away from there." And again: "You have entered," they said, "as a stranger; should you then judge? Therefore, we will afflict you yourself more than them." And they acted very violently against Lot. And they were now at the point of breaking open the doors.


And he said: "Behold, the people are united, and all have one tongue. And since they have begun to do this, they will not desist from their plans, until they have completed their work.


For the heart of this people has grown fat, and with their ears they hear heavily, and they have closed their eyes, lest at any time they might see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and then I would heal them.'


And by saying these things, they were barely able to restrain the crowds from immolating to them.


But as the disciples were standing around him, he got up and entered the city. And the next day, he set out with Barnabas for Derbe.
