2 Thessalonians 3:13

So then, meditate upon him who endured such adversity from sinners against himself, so that you may not become weary, failing in your souls.

Therefore, since we have this ministry, and in as much as we have obtained mercy for ourselves, we are not inadequate.

For this reason, we are not insufficient. But it is as though our outer man is corrupted, while our inner man is renewed from day to day.

And you have patient endurance for the sake of my name, and you have not fallen away.

And you have forgotten the consolation which speaks to you like sons, saying: "My son, do not be willing to neglect the discipline of the Lord. Neither should you become weary, while being rebuked by him."

Therefore, concerning other things, brothers, we ask and beg you, in the Lord Jesus, that, just as you have received from us the way in which you ought to walk and to please God, so also may you walk, in order that you may abound all the more.

Now he also told them a parable, that we should continually pray and not cease,

In that day, it will be said to Jerusalem, "Do not be afraid," and to Zion, "Do not let your hands be weakened."

And this I pray: that your charity may abound more and more, with knowledge and with all understanding,

To those who, in accord with patient good works, seek glory and honor and incorruption, certainly, he will render eternal life.

And you have said, "Behold our labor," and you have exhaled it away, says the Lord of hosts. And you brought in by plunder the lame, and the sick, and brought it in as a gift. How can I receive this from your hand, says the Lord?

After these things have been declared, they shall add the remainder, and shall say to the people: 'What man is there who is overwhelmed by fear and is fainthearted? Let him go, and return to his house, lest he cause the hearts of his brothers to fear, just as he himself has been thoroughly stricken with fear.'

And when all things will have been subjected to him, then even the Son himself will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to him, so that God may be all in all.

But do not be willing to consider him as an enemy; instead, correct him as a brother.
