But Rehoboam loved Maacah, the daughter of Absalom, above all his wives and concubines. For he had taken eighteen wives and sixty concubines. And he conceived twenty-eight sons and sixty daughters.

And Jeroboam no longer had the strength to resist, in the days of Abijah. And the Lord struck him, and he died.


Now the rest of the words of Abijah, and his ways and works, have been written very diligently in the book of Iddo, the prophet.
