then you shall lead her into your house. And she shall shave off her hair, and cut her nails short,


And there was a prophetess, Anna, a daughter of Phanuel, from the tribe of Asher. She was very advanced in years, and she had lived with her husband for seven years from her virginity.


'And this shall be: in the last days, says the Lord, I will pour out, from my Spirit, upon all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. And your youths shall see visions, and your elders shall dream dreams.


Women should be silent in the churches. For it is not permitted for them to speak; but instead, they should be subordinate, as the law also says.


Now this man had four daughters, virgins, who were prophesying.


Take a millstone and grind meal. Uncover your shame, bare your shoulder, reveal your legs, cross the streams.


Every man praying or prophesying with his head covered disgraces his head.


So if a woman is not veiled, let her hair be cut off. Truly then, if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off, or to have her head shaven, then she should cover her head.
