Now consider this, ye that forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver:


So are the paths of all that forget God; And the hope of the godless man shall perish:


But for the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part shall be in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.


For my people have forgotten me, they have burned incense to false gods; and they have been made to stumble in their ways, in the ancient paths, to walk in bypaths, in a way not cast up;


This is thy lot, the portion measured unto thee from me, saith Jehovah; because thou hast forgotten me, and trusted in falsehood.


Can a virgin forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number.


And if any was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.


Therefore Sheol hath enlarged its desire, and opened its mouth without measure; and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth among them, descend into it.


Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him; for what his hands have done shall be done unto him.


The wicked is thrust down in his evil-doing; But the righteous hath a refuge in his death.


They soon forgat his works; They waited not for his counsel,


They are appointed as a flock for Sheol; Death shall be their shepherd: And the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; And their beauty shall be for Sheol to consume, That there be no habitation for it.


If we have forgotten the name of our God, Or spread forth our hands to a strange god;


And I will visit upon her the days of the Baalim, unto which she burned incense, when she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and went after her lovers, and forgat me, saith Jehovah.


A voice is heard upon the bare heights, the weeping and the supplications of the children of Israel; because they have perverted their way, they have forgotten Jehovah their God.


All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, Neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant.


He taketh the wise in their own craftiness; And the counsel of the cunning is carried headlong.


His own iniquities shall take the wicked, And he shall be holden with the cords of his sin.


And thou shalt be profaned in thyself, in the sight of the nations; and thou shalt know that I am Jehovah.
