Proverbs 29:14
18 পৰস্পৰ সংযোগসমূহ  

It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness; For the throne is established by righteousness.


but with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.


The king by justice establisheth the land; But he that exacteth gifts overthroweth it.


Kindness and truth preserve the king; And his throne is upholden by kindness.


The prince that lacketh understanding is also a great oppressor; But he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.


Take away the wicked from before the king, And his throne shall be established in righteousness.


For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever; Thy faithfulness wilt thou establish in the very heavens.


Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by showing mercy to the poor; if there may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.


He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well. Was not this to know me? saith Jehovah.


They are waxed fat, they shine: yea, they overpass in deeds of wickedness; they plead not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, that they may prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.


learn to do well; seek justice, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
