When thou comest into thy neighbor’s standing grain, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thy hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbor’s standing grain.


Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall accomplish a vow, the persons shall be for Jehovah by thy estimation.


And the children of Israel smote them not, because the princes of the congregation had sworn unto them by Jehovah, the God of Israel. And all the congregation murmured against the princes.


Offer unto God the sacrifice of thanksgiving; And pay thy vows unto the Most High;


I will come into thy house with burnt-offerings; I will pay thee my vows,


It is a snare to a man rashly to say, It is holy, And after vows to make inquiry.
