This is what your heart needs

Every day we see how hate and hunger for revenge consume the world in which we live. It is common to see families destroying themselves, street murders, fights, conflicts between couples, racism, discrimination, etc.

The lack of love for God and neighbor is increasing in people. We can still see this problem within the church. Many have forgotten the love of God and neighbor when Jesus said: “There is no other commandment greater than these” (Mark 12:31).

God is clear. “Everyone who loves is a child of God and knows God; but he who does not love does not know God, because God is love ” (1 John 4: 7-8)

How are you? Are you loving God, your family, and your enemies? Or are you letting hate dominate you?

For several days now I have been praying, asking God for forgiveness for all the evil that is in my heart, I say: Father help me to please you, I want to do it. I only know that I need you and your help, I need urgent changes in my heart, in my character, in my way of speaking and expressing myself, in my inner being, I need more love within me to love you and to love my neighbor.

I invite you to do it too. Every day we need to seek and know God because if we don’t we will never know what love is. We need to immerse ourselves in the presence of God and let Him do His work in us. Only then will we know how to love God and our neighbor.

If you have grown resentment, anger, bitterness, hatred, jealousy, and all hostile feelings, you need God. Because God cannot dwell in a contaminated heart. Approach Him and ask Him to forgive you and enter your heart.

Do not wait another day, today you must surrender your heart to Christ and let Him cleanse Him.

God dwells in the clean heart!
