Eating all kinds of food can be very tasty for many people. Having a variety of things to taste is a temptation that not many can resist.
However, if you keep eating a lot of food without selecting the healthy ones, or no control, that food that was delicious, at first, can become really dangerous for your body.
That’s why it is so important to put a limint or stablishing some standars when deciding what and when to eat.
Being on a diet doesn’t apply only to people who want to lose weight, but also to those ones who decide to choose the right things to eat for being in shape and healthy.
Believe it or not, the same as food happens with our words. We have to learn to select them wisely.
Some people say “what they want” no matter what. They say all kinds of words, at all times, with everybody. The temptation can be worst if somebody hurts you. However, although you can have many things in your mind to say, please, think twice before you do it.
The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:23 “I have the right to do anything,” you say but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything” but not everything is constructive.
As food, our words also need to be in balance because if you say more than you need, it could bring uncomfortable situations.
The Bible wans us about this issue. God himself in His word advises us to be prudent with our words “Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues” Proverbs 10:19
So, put your words on a diet by following God’s advice, and you will be a wise, prudent, and reliable person. God bless you!
