There is evidence supporting the existence of God. Not everyone finds this evidence convincing, but that does not mean it does not exist. Many who reject evidence for God request forms of proof—or levels of certainty—that are either irrelevant or unreasonable. By examining logic, experience, and empirical observations, there is substantial evidence for the existence of God.
Evaluating evidence involves appropriately categorizing it. Some may hesitate at the concept of “evidence” for an invisible and immaterial God. Nevertheless, even staunch skeptics acknowledge the meaningful existence of many intangible things, such as the laws of logic. Logic is neither material nor visible, yet it is considered “real” and can be perceived and studied. While logic cannot be seen or quantified mechanically, this does not support the claim that logic is non-existent. This also applies, to some extent, to other concepts like morality.

Not merely “because the Bible says so,” but because the Bible has proved to be so reliable. Dismissing it as biased, simply because it says things skeptics do not accept, is not a rational response. That would be as irrational as dismissing every book describing Julius Caesar and then claiming there are no records describing Julius Caesar. Personal experiences provide support for the existence of God. These experiences are convincing only to the individuals who have them. However, many individuals have developed a deep personal understanding of God. One of the weakest responses to evidence of God’s existence is to simply ignore it by stating “there is no evidence.” Similarly, some skeptics may find the evidence unconvincing. This type of assertion often involves continuously shifting the standard of proof. For instance, as seen with the Big Bang Theory, even when a position is effectively proven, a committed skeptic may still argue that the proof aligns with their existing beliefs. Just as one person’s belief does not serve as concrete evidence of God’s existence, one person’s disbelief does not serve as definitive proof of the contrary. This is particularly relevant considering that the existence of God intersects with matters such as personal morality and autonomy. Both in religious texts and in everyday life, there are numerous instances of individuals who are presented with substantial evidence but choose to stubbornly disregard it (Romans 1:18-20;Psalm 19:1;John 5:39-40;Luke 16:19-31;James 2:19).
By integrating our knowledge from experiences, logic, history, science, and other fields, there exists an abundance of evidence supporting the existence of God. Fortunately, we are not required to uncover all this evidence to establish a meaningful relationship with Him.
