Does the Bible indicate that, in the end times, people will not be able to recognize the different seasons?

Recently, someone assisted us in tracing back the concept to the “3 Days of Darkness” prophecy of Padre Pio, a Roman Catholic priest. The precise quote seems to be, “You will recognize when that time is approaching because the seasons will alter, and the only way to discern them will be through the leaves on the trees.”

The notion of “not being able to recognize the seasons except by the leaves” is not supported by the Bible. In reality, there are verses in the Bible that convey the opposite message. Genesis 8:22 proclaims, “As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night shall not cease.” Matthew 24:32-33 declares, “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs become tender and its leaves sprout, you know that summer is near.
