There some people who believe that God loves the most those Christians who are “humble” and they confuse the term with “poorness”; meanwhile there is another group of people who believes that God only wants to please all your hearts desires.

God’s desire

It is true that God wants His children to live a holy life giving more importance to the spiritual things because heaven is our goal. But it is also true that He is our heavenly Father, and as a Father, He wants the best for His children. It implies that He will take care of us and all our needs (Psalm 23:1).

“Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.” 3 John 1:2

As you can see, in the text above, God shows us in His word something very important. God wants us to be prosper and healthy, but He enphazises that all that has to be matched to the spiritual prosperity. God’s wisdom goes beyond you can imagine, He knows that if you grow spiritualy first, he can bless you in other areas as well, because you will be able to handle the other things the right way and your heart won’t deviate.

Money is not bad, the bad thing is the use and treat you give to it. There is nothing wrong in being financially prosperous. In fact, the Bible shows a variety of Godly men that were rich. God blessed them spiritually and financially. Here, you have the name of some of them: Abraham (Genesis 12:2; 13:2;24:35), Isaac (Genesis 26:12-14), Joseph the dreamer (Genesis 41:38-44), and King David (1 Chronicles 29:14;1 chronicles 29:26-28) among others.

The problem is when people put money as an idol, starting to trust in it and forget about God as a provider. He knows we need money to buy things to eat, to wear , that you have children to raise etc… He has the power to make a difference in your life. But the main thing He wants you to understant is that those things must not be your prioirty, Your priority must be always Him and His kingdom (Matthew 6:33). When you spend time seeking for His, He will bless you addind to your life everything you need and will also surprise you with much more you can image. He is your GOOD FATHER!

“Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.” 1 Chronicles 29:12
